Full-time staff are entitled to 25 days annual leave per year, and for every year you work for Plan, your entitlement will increase by another day - up to 30 days after completing five years of service. You’ll also get paid time off for the 8 Bank Holidays each year. Entitlements are pro-rated for part time employees.
We will match employee contributions to our stakeholder pension scheme up to a maximum of 7.5% of basic pay, with the option to join a salary sacrifice scheme.
We provide enhanced benefits for parents and parents to be, including paid time off to undergo fertility treatment. Subject to meeting qualifying service criteria, we offer employees enhanced maternity / adoption / shared parental pay of up to 10 weeks' at full pay and 29 weeks' at half pay, as well as two weeks’ parental leave for partners at full pay.
We pay 3 times an employees basic salary to their nominated beneficiary.
We understand that there are times when you need time off from work to manage things at home and we offer paid time off for domestic and dependents’ emergencies.
We provide enhanced sick pay to employees up to a maximum of 12 weeks’ paid time off after one year of service.
Our EAP offers online wellbeing resources, confidential advice on emotional or practical issues 24 hours a day, and up to 6 counselling sessions, where appropriate.
We will pay a £25 contribution towards the cost of an annual eye test and a contribution of up to £50 for spectacles if required for VDU use.
We offer a salary sacrifice scheme to purchase a bike and cycling accessories.
We get together as an organisation at least twice each year at our annual summer and winter jollies. We also have a number of other social clubs which meet regularly such as a film club, Plan Pandas (for inter-charity softball games), and a feminist book club - to name a few.
